Purpose

The Kimberley Foundation is focused on improving outcomes for children, youth and families by funding preventative strategies in the areas of health, education and the arts.

We seek out innovative and dynamic organisations with a commitment to sound governance with whom we foster positive relationships and form partnerships in order to experience firsthand the progress and results of each project.

We actively encourage collaborative opportunities with other trusts and foundations in order to generate increased funding for projects.

Our Funding Approach

The Foundation is not a traditional grant-making body to whom organisations apply directly for grants. Our modus operandi involves sourcing and researching organisations or projects aligned with our funding focus. The majority of our funding is for one or two years although depending on the project, longer-term funding for up to 3 years will be considered. Seed funding for pilot programs and funding for capacity building is also considered.
